Away Day

Staff from London and Leeds came together face-to-face for the first time for a research meeting and team building day in Central London. The day started with a team meeting where we discussed the progress of the trial so far, shared things that have gone well and not so well, with ideas for going forward to the main trial. In the afternoon we did something a bit different. We were the students for a change and tried learning a new skill. Thank you to Social Pottery for hosting us at their studio, where we undertook a pottery making taster class including hand building and wheel throwing. We all had a fun experience, doing something completely new. The wheel throwing proved much more challenging than our teacher made it look, as evidenced by the quote of the day by Richard: “How do I resurrect the situation?”
