Staffing update - October 2024

We have some staffing updates for the central IMPROVE trial team.

In July, our trial administrator, Alison Dickson, left to pursue a new career as a school administrator. However, Alison continues to support the trial on a part-time basis by transcribing feedback interviews we are conducting with PR staff and patients at sites offering PR-buddy services.

Additionally, we are sorry to say that our trial manager, Toby, and our London-based research assistant, Nat, have both accepted new positions and will be leaving the IMPROVE trial in October. We wish them every success in their new roles.

We are pleased to have successfully recruited two new team members: Selina Cox, who joins us as our new trial manager, and Morgan Bell-Ricketts, who has taken on the role of research assistant. Both Selina and Morgan started at the end of September, which has greatly assisted with the transition as Toby and Nat hand over their responsibilities, ensuring continuity for the trial.

We are also excited to welcome Rebecca Mackenzie to the team. Rebecca is a trainee GP who has taken some time out of her training to gain research experience. She is working on the trial part-time while continuing her clinical duties.

Selina, Morgan, and Rebecca are all based at King’s College London.
