Our pilot study is underway!
We have now recruited and trained 3 intervention sites for our pilot study which is currently underway. These 3 sites are now in the process of recruiting PR buddies. On the 25th of May we completed the first block of staff training for these trial intervention sites. This consisted of a combination of in-person and online sessions for PR staff to teach them how to recruit PR buddies and implement a PR buddy service. In total we will aim to have 8 sites involved in our pilot study with half of these in the intervention arm of the trial and the other half in the care as usual arm.
